Digby was a professor and good friend to my father, brother and family.
Back when I used to blog I scanned in a fantastic article that serves as an informative introduction to a true gentleman and scholar.

If you can find his books they're worth a read. The term "they don't make them like they used to" was written about Digby.
I've read all of his books. MLS, have you read Sporting Gentlemen? Baltzell was a great man.
