Welcome to The Ivy League Look
This blog presents a historical view through articles, photographs, reminiscences, and advertisements, of an American style of men's fashion of the mid-20th century known as "The Ivy League Look" or "The Ivy Look."
This blog will not present modern-day iterations of this "look"; it will be shown in its original context as an American style worn during this specific era. Author commentary will be kept to a minimum.

Geez, I'd get one in every color if they weren't so darn much. What's a college kid to do? Maybe I'll ask for one for Christmas. I'm going for the pink.
$17.50 in 1968 is roughly equivalent to $100 today. I'd say that J. Press has tied their price increases to the rise in cost of a Yale education rather than the CPI.
Just got a Kelly Green one on sale-25% off.
