  2. In 1963, even a $75 suit had some hand work. Every $15-$20 was a different customer. $140 for a Norman Hilton was pricey. America was full of manufacturing and tailor shops, largely filled by first and second generation immigrants. While there were better hand-made suits, like Oxxford and DeRegatis, Norman Hilton was the top of its class of natural shoulder silhouettes and made the purest form. Any better specialty men's store that wanted the natural shoulder trade carried Norman Hilton. And Gant Shirts, too.
