Authentic Ivy, 1959

Shoulders - All the current favorites follow natural lines, but the American Natural is slightly more built up, the Ambassador is sort of concave in appearance, the Continental is somewhat squared off, and the Ivy has a completely natural shoulder line.

Lapels - All models today have narrow lapels and the differences can generally be measured within an inch or less. However, the Natural and the Ivy have moderate notch lapels, the Ambassador a small notch lapel, the Continental either peaked or semi-peaked lapels.

Coat - ...the Ivy has a wider button placement and very natural lines.

Pockets - ...the Ivy, flap pockets.

Trousers - ...the Ivy a low rise and pleatless front.
